Green Binder Technocem | |
Technocem is ultra high performance binder based on new generation microcrystalline technology manufactured using industrial byproducts having high hydraulic activity such as fly ash and slag. This is a green binder that doesn’t contain any Portland cement and have low or no carbon footprint.
Technocem binder offers reduced shrinkage and superior resistance to chemical attack because of the formation of microcrystalline structure of its hydration products. It achieves strength much faster than Portland cement because of the spontaneous dissolution of its oxide components and ability of it to connect quicker forming a solid. Hence many installations can be put into service in as little time as three hours. TECHNOCEM is curing free quick setting cement in accordance to ASTM C 1157 or alternate binder based on new generation microcrystalline technology and manufactured using more than 90% pozzolanic material and does not contain any Portland Cement. Why Technocem Binder? TECHNOCEM when mixed with water reacts chemically to produce a cementitous paste and hardens in few minutes with improved properties. It is more suitable for applications where speed, strength and durability are of primordial importance. It provides the users a value added alternative solution for today’s most challenging construction, repair, and product offerings with the below specified unique advantages. TECHNOCEM does not contain any Portland cement or Resin or VOCs and Non Toxic. It utilizes more than 90% of industrial by products and the manufacturing process does not involve Calcination. It conserves water (due to no curing requirement) during end product application. Hence the carbon foot print is many folds lower than that of Portland cement – An Ecofriendly Green Binder and entitled for LEED credit. Unique Features - Quick Setting (Can be extended) - High Early Strength (Achieves 60% of its original strength in a day) - No Curing Required and Non-Shrink - No Priming Required - Very low drying shrinkage - Highly Thixotropic - Highly Impermeable to Water - Superior Chloride and Sulphate Resistance - Increased Chemical and Fire Resistance - Can set in low temperature condition - Very high bond and flexural strength - Ideal choice of construction material in acidic environments |
